this was so wonderful - i love how the flashbacks flow in and grant and gerard's past evolves to be almost another character. frank's reticence to let gerard in on his troubles - to protect him in two ways is just... it's so FRANK. and it's adorable and heartbreaking, and mikey in this is just... wonderful. i love this but it actually made me really sad - please some day maybe there could be more? i definitely didn't want their story to end. beautifully done.
