This was so lovely and quiet, easing along slowly, and such a pleasure to read. I love historical AUs, so you already had me from the word go, but this pulled me in and made me wonder more, imagining the way that Gerard was feeling and thinking about Frank, or how Brian talked about them all while he was down in the kitchens. Great atmosphere, and good use of the gothic in those light touches. I loved it!
